The central figure is Judah, portrayed as a bearded warrior in flowing robes, raising his arm in exhortation, flanked by armored soldiers in ancient attire, with rays of divine light emanating from a nine-branched menorah (hanukkiah) at the top, symbolizing the miracle of Hanukkah. The composition is dynamic and narrative-driven, evoking the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucids in the 2nd century BCE. Hebrew inscription at the bottom reads the verse in elegant script. The plaque is set within a simple wooden frame with brass edging, giving it a mid-century modern aesthetic suitable for wall display.
