Up for sale is a stunning authentic Victorian-era pedestal kerosene oil lamp. This piece features a vibrant Cranberry Opalescent Swirl (or French Swirl) glass font. The glass is rich in color with a well-defined opalescent white spiral. Notably, the font contains original "seed bubbles" or air bubbles trapped within the glass, a characteristic hallmark of period artisanal glass blowing.

The font is joined to a heavy, clear pressed-glass base in the Paneled Arches pattern. The base features a distinctive scalloped, swirled foot and a paneled stem that beautifully complements the movement of the font's design. It comes complete with a period brass burner.
