This exquisite pair of silver beakers reflects the fine craftsmanship of the Zakhoder workshop, a premier supplier of Judaica in the early 20th century. Each cup is hand-bright-cut engraved with two distinct medallions: one depicting a traditional Russian village scene with a gabled izba (cottage) and the other featuring stylized foliate/grass motifs. The medallions are framed by stippled borders and connected by zig-zag "wrigglework" engraving. The interiors retain a rich, original gold wash.
