This listing features a choice collector's lot of three (3) authentic antique metal pocket savings register banks dating from the late 19th century through the early 20th century. Designed to be carried in a waistcoat pocket or purse, these clever mechanical tube banks allowed users to track their savings on the go.

The Collection Includes:

  1. The B. & R. Mfg. Co. "New Model" Bank: Stamped on the side wall with "THE B. & R. MFG. CO. NEW YORK / PAT AUG 26, 1890 & MAR 31, 1891" and featuring "NEW MODEL 1892" on the lid. The cap is embossed with the number "5". Features a slotted side with incremental graduation marks ($20, $40, $60, $80) to visually measure the physical stack of coins as it rises.

  2. Magic Pocket Savings Bank (6d Sixpence): Features a brass-toned cap embossed with a stylized "6d" for the British pre-decimal Sixpence coin. The side wall of the tube is cleanly stamped with "MAGIC POCKET SAVINGS BANK".

  3. Empire Bank Crown Edition (20 Shilling): Features a beautiful brass cap embossed with "EMPIRE BANK 20 S" (signifying a 20-shilling capacity when full). The side wall is embellished with a British Royal Crown crest and reads "MAGIC POCKET SAVINGS BANK".
