This is an authentic Victorian-era pedestal stand lamp in the iconic Princess Feather pattern (also historically known as Rococo). The lamp is crafted from a vibrant opaque blue glass, a color variant that is significantly rarer and more collectible than the standard clear flint glass versions.
The design features an ornate, high-relief feather and scroll motif on the font, which is echoed in the intricately detailed four-footed base. This lamp is equipped with a period-correct Queen Anne No. 2 brass burner. The thumbwheel is clearly stamped "Scovill Mfg Co. Waterbury Conn," identifying it as the product of one of the 19th century's premier brass manufacturers.
