A fine and pair of antique English brass candlesticks featuring multi-knop stems and square stepped bases with clipped corners. Standing at approximately 7.5 inches tall with a 3-inch square base, these classic examples are multi-piece sand-cast brass constructions held together by central iron spindle rods with threaded or peened ends. The stems display a balanced succession of annular and baluster turned knops, capturing the timeless elegance favored in domestic lighting from the Georgian into the Victorian eras. Both sticks exhibit a warm, undisturbed historical golden patina with natural surface oxidation and mellow highlights preserved completely untouched.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Solid and stable with minor age-appropriate wear, surface scratches, and minor verdigris in recessed crevices consistent with historical use. The original untouched golden brass patina remains completely unpolished. The structural iron assembly rods show stable oxidation beneath the bases.
