This museum-quality Victorian oil lamp is a stunning example of late 19th-century international craftsmanship. It features a heavy, ornate ceramic base produced by the renowned Doulton Burslem factory in Staffordshire, England. The base is decorated in the Majolica style, with a high-gloss glaze over deeply molded floral relief and scrolling acanthus leaves in a rich palette of cobalt, ochre, and forest green.

The lamp is fitted with a clear glass "drop-in" font featuring vertical fluting/ribbing, designed to catch and refract light. It is topped with an original American Brass Company (AB CO) No. 2 burner, complete with its original wick-riser knob.
