This is an antique cast iron still bank depicting a St. Bernard dog carrying a heavy pack or blanket roll secured by a gold-painted harness. This "Pack Dog" is one of the more desirable canine models produced by the A.C. Williams Company.

The casting features excellent detail in the fur texture and the facial expression. The two halves are joined by a single flat-head iron screw on the side with tight seams. The coin slot is located at the top of the pack. The bank stands approximately 5.5" tall and retains a significant amount of its original finish, showing a beautiful, authentic patina that only comes with age.
