This impressive crown-top bottle features bold, crisp embossing across the shoulder that reads: "CURRAN & JOYCE CO. INC. LAWRENCE, MASS.". Near the heel of the bottle, the word "REGISTERED" is cleanly embossed. The base features the embossed marking "26 N", pointing to its production in the year 1926.
Curran & Joyce was originally established in 1877 by partners Maurice J. Curran and John Joyce. Initially beginning as wholesale liquor and wine importers, they quickly grew to become prominent regional bottlers of beer, ginger ale, sarsaparilla, soda waters, and high-grade tonics. This bottle stands as a beautiful relic of New England’s industrial and bottling history during the Prohibition era.

Details: The glass retains a beautiful, natural luster with great clarity. The embossed lettering is highly raised and very crisp. There are no major chips, cracks, or structural issues. Minor interior residue and light surface scuffing are present, consistent with age and excavation or storage. No polishing or chemical alterations have been made to the glass.
