This authentic Mid-Century Modernist Judaica piece was designed by the pioneer of modern Jewish ceremonial art, Ludwig Yehuda Wolpert (1900–1981). Crafted in gold-plated brass with a texturized stippled field, the stylized oval plaque features stylized vertical flames rising behind bold, modernist Hebrew lettering spelling "אמונה" (Emunah / Faith).
Designed for versatile wear, the reverse includes both a fully operational pin stem with a rollover safety clasp and a top suspension loop/bail for threading onto a necklace chain. Marked with Wolpert’s crisp block stamp "WOLPERT" on the lower reverse.

Authenticity Assessment This brooch/pendant exhibits all primary authenticity hallmarks of production from Ludwig Wolpert's mid-century commercial jewelry line. The back features his crisp, clean, single-line recessed block stamp read as "WOLPERT" without serif ornamentation. The construction demonstrates the signature Tobe Pascher / Bauhaus-influenced technique: a heavy gold-plated brass base metal substrate with textured recessed fields contrasting against bright, raised, flat-planed Hebrew typography. The hardware uses standard mid-century rollover pin mechanisms and an integrated soldered top loop, confirming genuine manufacture rather than a recast or reproduction.
