Presenting a fine example of Israeli studio pottery Judaica: an artfully sculpted ceramic mezuzah case by the recognized Israeli art studio of Tanya & Israel Lombrozo. Hand-built from earthenware ceramic, this piece features a high-relief figure of a Klezmer musician playing the violin. The figure is detailed with expressively textured facial features, a cap, and a fringed tallit accented in shades of cobalt blue, soft green, and silver lustred highlights. This mezuzah exemplifies the fusion of classic Jewish folk iconology with modernist tactile clay sculpture. Depicting the iconic Fiddler motif—a symbol of tradition, resilience, and musical heritage in Eastern European and Israeli Jewish culture—the piece features expressive, hand-tooled relief work and contrasting matte and glazed earthenware textures.

The top is fashioned with an arched header perforated for wall mounting, complemented by a secondary mounting hole at the base. The back panel is marked with the handwritten signature "ISRAEL LOMBROZO" and houses a clear plastic-wrapped scroll within its designated recess.
