This is a vintage polychrome hand-painted cast iron figural bottle opener featuring a humorously tipsy cowboy clinging to a tall saguaro cactus. The piece features a detailed three-dimensional casting showing the cowboy in his hat, neckerchief, and boots with one leg kicked outward. The back of the cactus features the integrated bottle opening cap-lifter mechanism.

The piece features genuine original polychrome cold-painted finishes with visible remnants of green paint on the saguaro cactus, red on the cowboy’s neckerchief/shirt, and dark tones on his boots and hat, along with expected paint wear revealing the dark oxidized cast iron beneath. The underside of the weighted base exhibits natural, age-appropriate wear and oxidization.
