The outer circular disc is embossed with the complete Hebrew verse: "שמע ישראל ה' אלהינו ה' אחד" (Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One - Deut. 6:4) in raised block lettering with antique-style oxidized contrast. At the center of the open medallion, a vertical bar holds a central Hamsa hand motif that spins freely 360 degrees. The front of the Hamsa features a bezel-set vibrant blue turquoise-tone cabochon, symbolizing protection against the Evil Eye (Ayin Hara).
