This exceptional, authentic vintage tabletop sculpture is a striking example of 1970s Brazilian Modernist/Brutalist design. Crafted by the celebrated studio brand Copa Collection, this piece is entirely handmade, featuring an incredible tactile presence.
The sculpture showcases a stylized, openwork Magen David (Star of David) fashioned from organic, molten-welded brass panels. A heavy-gauge, fluidly coiled brass wire rises dynamically through the center of the star, creating a beautiful interplay of geometric and biomorphic lines. The free-form textured base is anchored by an embedded raw, unpolished Brazilian amethyst crystal chunk alongside subtle mixed copper accents, delivering the distinctive "wearable art for the home" signature that defines the Copa studio's aesthetic. The underside retains its original metallic gold "Made in Brazil / Copa Collection" studio foil label.
