The candlesticks feature dramatic, deep-relief grapevine and leaf motifs on the expansive base, leading to a sophisticated ribbed pedestal and topped with rare, elegant scalloped tulip-form sockets.

Unlike most silver plate from this era, the silver surface on this pair remains remarkably pristine, showcasing an original patina that speaks to their history.
