Mounted to the center are two open-top match pockets, each adorned with a sculpted medallion of a classical armor-clad figure with a cross and shield. The lower edge curls forward to form a tray for spent matches or holding extra supply, with textured surfaces for striking friction matches. Designed with an integrated top mounting hole for hanging near a fireplace or stove.
