This is an exceptional piece of antique Victorian art glass featuring a vibrant, rich cranberry body with a classic expanded swirl optic mold design. The miniature pitcher stands approximately 3.75" tall and flares into a wide, bulbous base. It features an elegantly applied clear glass reed/celery style handle attached with a finely worked crimped or leaf terminal base.

The glass is hand-blown, demonstrating a wonderful depth of color transitioning from a delicate rosy pink at the rim to a deep, intense ruby-cranberry at the base. The underside displays a characteristic rough, snapped pontil mark from the glassmaker’s blowpipe, consistent with late 19th-century artisanal production techniques.
