For sale is an authentic antique 19th-century European "Case Gin" bottle. Blown from a rich, deep olive green glass, this historic spirits bottle features a classic tapered square body designed to be packed into wooden shipping crates. The glass displays beautiful historical character, including mild "whittling" textures on the sides and natural seed bubbles suspended in the walls from the old glassmaking process. It features a crudely hand-applied tapered collar lip and a smooth base with a four-point resting heel. A fantastic, clean piece of early utilitarian glass perfect for bottle collectors or rustic historical decor.

The glass remains remarkably clean with great clarity and gloss, exhibiting only minor surface scuffs, light shelf wear on the base corners, and interior faint cloudiness consistent with age and burial/attic storage. Lip is intact.
