Up for consideration is a striking pair of antique c. 1910s–1920s cast iron "Colonial House" still coin banks manufactured in Ravenna, Ohio by the A.C. Williams Company.
Each bank stands approximately 3" high by 2.5" wide by 1.75" deep and features an intricate two-story architectural casting. The front facade showcases a detailed front portico door, lower and upper window openings, and brickwork detailing. Both pieces maintain their original factory finish: a warm, gilded gold cold-painted body complemented by distinct roof accents—one in factory red and the other in vibrant green.
The coins enter through a slot integrally cast at the top of the central chimney. Each bank utilizes two two-piece sand castings fitted along classic interlocking sawtooth/wavy side seams and joined by a single original steel screw inserted through the rear wall.
