This example features a classic hourglass-shaped clear glass globe and a multi-perforated draft cap designed to prevent the flame from flickering out in high winds. The frame and fount retain their authentic, original dark aged patina—left completely uncleaned and unpolished to preserve its historical character. The bottom fount detaches smoothly, and the miniature burner assembly includes the original brass wick advancement wheel, which moves freely. A wonderful piece of early American lighting history, perfect for rustic, farmhouse, or high-end antique displays.
