Up for sale is an authentic antique cast iron "Prancing Horse" still coin bank believed to have been manufactured by the A. C. Williams Company of Ravenna, Ohio, circa 1910–1920s. Featured in Andy & Susan Moore's The Penny Bank Book (p. 86, No. 517), this classic figural bank captures a horse in a dynamic prancing posture with its left foreleg lifted.

Constructed in two sand-cast halves joined by a central transverse screw, this bank retains a substantial portion of its original factory gold gilt finish. The coin entry slot is located cleanly along the upper mane and spine. An exceptional example of early 20th-century American cast iron novelty production, ideal for display on a desk, mantle, or among antique still bank collections.
